Toddler Snack - Bean Burger
My friend served these to the toddlers at her son's birthday party. They were a hit. I made some today and ate them for lunch. The combination of grains and beans makes a complete protein.
Toddler Snack - Bean Burger

Ingredients
- 1 can beans, rinsed (I used white beans)
2 ish cups cooked brown rice
1 egg
1 handful cheese
A few sprinkles italian seasoning
Teeny bit garlic powder
Directions
Put all ingredients in food processor and process until blended and smooth.** Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Put globs of bean dough on sheet and spray tops with more nonstick spray. Press globs into patties with hands. Cook at 350 until done-usually 15-20 minutes depending on size. They can be frozen once cool. To reheat put in microwave for 20 seconds on each side.
** I don't have a food processor, yet. (Any suggestions???) I pureed the beans and then mixed the rest by hand.
