Disney's Famous Dole Whip Is Finally Coming to Grocery Stores Next Month

Ice cream season has nearly returned, and one of our favorite Disney Park treats is finally making its grocery store debut. On March 3, Dole announced that its fan-favorite Dole Whip will be available in the freezer section this April in three sweet flavors: pineapple, mango, and strawberry.

Made with real fruit, the dairy-free frozen dessert has long been a Disney staple, with some parkgoers scheduling trips to Disneyland and Disney World specifically to get a taste of the icy treat. Through the years, the parks have introduced several fruity Dole Whip flavors, including watermelon, lemon, lime, orange, raspberry-lemon swirl, chocolate, and vanilla.

Part of the fun of ordering Dole Whip at Disney parks is being able to personalize the snack in a waffle cone, a cup, or as a drinkable float — with or without alcohol. Soon you'll be able to customize the snack from home. Personally, we're fans of the Polynesian Lava You Dole Whip Float made with pineapple Dole Whip soft-serve, passion fruit juice, orange juice, guava juice, and popping candy, and we can't wait to recreate it in our own kitchen.

Other popular Dole Whip treats at the Disney Parks include Pineapple Upside Down Cake, the Sparkling Sunshine float served with orange cream soft-serve and apple cider, the Barq's Root Beer Float, Simba's Sunset pineapple-and-strawberry swirl, the Frozen Margarita with Dole Whip Lime, and the Habanero Lime Galley Shack Swirl served with tequila. If you're looking to truly embrace the vacation vibes from home, you can also add a splash of coconut rum to your soft serve just like they do at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom.

Dole has not announced an exact date for when the creamy strawberry, pineapple, and mango flavors will hit shelves, but we'll be keeping a close eye on the freezer section all April long.
